Jessica Hickey is a woman of many talents - Operations Mastermind, Author, Speaker, Coach, Author, and Sailor. Her professional life has been as varied as it has been interesting. From mixology to administrative to project management, an engineering degree, and the chance to learn all about how to run a business, to publishing a book as well as coaching CEOs of multiple types of companies.
A professional civil engineer, lean/six sigma green belt, and a certified change management professional, Jessica has worked in a variety of sectors including government, corporate real estate, professional services, as well as delving deep into entrepreneurialism. It was in this last area she found her groove – and spent 15 years as a “fixer” and fractional COO for companies spanning the hospitality, retail, and services industries. Recently she shifted once again and now spends much of her days as a Vistage Chair facilitating CEO peer advisory groups where curated peer groups benefit from her decades of diverse and vast professional successes.
Outside of work, she loves to travel and sail when the winds are favorable. She also volunteers and shares career experiences as a mentor to students at her alma mater San Diego State University. Part of that mentorship is sharing her philosophy of “Believe the people that believe in you”, something she learned from a woman fighter pilot trainer she coached, and has leveraged herself throughout her successful professional and personal life.
