A world traveler, she has visited more than 38 countries, lived in eight and speaks five languages. Her global experiences give her a unique perspective and ability to connect with diverse audiences around the world. In 2014, at the World Championship of Public Speaking she ranked in the top 20 of the 35K globally diverse speaker entrants.
For almost 20 years Sylvia has been engaging and inspiring audiences around the world with tools and strategies from her Dare to Care™ Framework. Keynote and workshop attendees have learned about her proven theories and methodologies build thriving work cultures with emotional intelligence. She has worked with the likes of Whirlpool Inc., Lockheed Martin, Capital One, Doctors Without Borders, and the World Bank.
I Dare You to Care is the title of both her emotional intelligence podcast and book. Both of these focus on using emotional intelligence skills to inspire, influence, and achieve remarkable growth.
Her positivity is infectious, and you can’t help but believe you can do whatever you put your mind to after talking with her about your ideas. From her early days as a management consultant to building her Dare to Care business, Sylvia has always understood the value of showing up purposefully in every interaction.
