Jenny Magic is just an all-around amazing and kind individual. Pair this with her 20 years of marketing transformation experience she guides management and team performance practices on positive methods to navigate and conquer change. One of her clients dubbed her a "marketing therapist" years ago for her ability to get a dysfunctional team back on track, and the label stuck. She even helped Sesame Street get along better.
She relies on facilitation skills to build consensus around the tactical areas—processes, workflows, and technology—that allow change to actually stick. She is a certified professional coach as well as an external practitioner for the Fearless Organization, using the Psychological Safety Index as a team performance benchmark.
Her own journey has been fueled by self-induced change. Not one to sit around and enjoy the splendors of success, Jenny has been on the pursuit of the “it” that will ground and fulfill her need to positively contribute to the world, while also gaining professional satisfaction. That itch has been, at least for now, scratched with the recent rebranding of her company, and the release of her first book.
Along with co-author Melissa Breker, "CHANGE FATIGUE: Flip Teams From Burnout to Buy-In", is a must-read for any team leader. The book was fueled and inspired by her experience that a key predictor of any success is not just having a great plan but planning for change. Which, she and her team at the newly minted Build a Better Change, can help organizations realize.
Jenny lives in Austin with her architect husband and two Zelda-obsessed sons, is an avid reader, fierce game night competitor, and former top person of the family waterski pyramids. And she believes that “Reciprocity is real”, and that if you get up each day thinking, how can I help others achieve their goals, or just have a better day, that your own life will be more fulfilling and successful.
