Allison Abraham has carved her success from a committed and deep work ethic. By taking a visionary’s point of view on just about everything and making sure those around her are supported, seen, and allowed to shine, she has set an example of what success can be. Previously as a leader of Non-Linear Creations, and now, as Valtech’s Managing Director of DXP for the Americas and part of the agency’s Americas Leadership Team, she actively drives the success of the org and all those who work for it.
For more than two decades, she has been helping companies and brands excel through digital marketing and business transformation initiatives across multiple verticals. Along the way she has become an industry thought leader, public speaker, and strategic advisor to many C-suite and board stakeholders.
She is passionate about equity and building women up, particularly in the field of technology. As such, she is a strong advocate and participating proponent of Valtech’s Tech Girl North America – a group designed to highlight opportunities for women in technology and equip young girls, the future leaders, with the skills and tools to take on the tech space. That is just one of the ways is a champion and mentor to the many organizations and boards she gives her expertise and time to.
As most of us have, but specifically as a female leader in the tech space she has faced her share of challenges and toxic interactions. Her best advice - “Don’t make yourself available to things that are toxic. Set boundaries to keep yourself and your mental health safe.”. To do that, she has found doing the inner work, which often goes unheralded for its importance, is critical. Build and get to know your humility and self-awareness – then live that out loud. She says that has been critical in her success building.
